Complaints have been filed.

I have spoken with both Patient Advocacy and the Nurse Manager about our experiences and submitted our observations about the pathetic security detail to the Director of Security for the hospital. There isn't much more for us to do at this point but move forward, though they have committed to going through employee re-training on safety and security protocols as well as doing an investigation about the fact that our boys were made to go without food for long periods of time unnecessarily.

Both Cameron and Evan are still throwing up bile even on the NJ tubes. No one is sure why they continue to do so, but it's being monitored and we are slowly weaning them up in volume to make sure they can tolerate the pace of the continuous feeding pump. Evan will have his GJ tube placed tomorrow and Cameron will be on Thursday.

You all continue to be in our thoughts and prayers - hope that surgery goes well tomorrow for Evan - he's a tough little guy. And I will be thinking extra much about his Mamma - you're doing great. I wish so much that there was something we could do to help you...hugs, hugs, and more hugs. xo

Laura - I think of you all day long as I sit in Jaxon's hospital room. I wish we could be in the same hospital to support eachother. I'm assuming you feel alone like I do...

I am glad you got that all settled. I sure hope something comes of it.

I know that this all must be wearing on you. I hate that your family has to go through this. Your sweet little guys are so tough, and so are you.

Ya know, Children's National in DC did this to us, too. What the hell is wrong with these people. We are thinking of you guys.

I am so sorry you have to deal with this right now. Your only concern should be your boys, not having to deal with crappy treatment. Seriously unacceptable on their part.

Anyway, please know I am praying for your sweet boys.
